Somebody just tried scamming

I HAD a thread in parts wanted…. This guy sent me a private message with an email address, (i was too dumb to write his name down, probably cuz i didn’t expect a scammer here)…
He said “contact this Kathy, her past away husband was a forum member, and has your parts”….
I sent the email, she started at a very high price, i said im out, too high for my budget. She insisted me to send my info and to let her know my price. I told her i didn’t want to insult.
In meantime, i get back on forum private messages, that SOB is gone from my list!!! How does that happen??? The sender can erase the message?
By the way, no moreemails after i said your a scam!

Go back in your PM's and find the conversation. There will be a "Report" option at the bottom of the screen. File a report and we can handle it from there.

You aren't the only one hit with a pm from that scammer. It was reported and the
scammer has been banned. That's how.
