Fixed it.That's no crab, that's a blood sucking politician!
Really!!A member of the military isn’t govnt. property. The are contract killers.
As a 'law enforcement' officer in the AF, I was told to shoot to stop and not to kill. Really?? Ain't no way I'm taking aim at knees or feet with only a 6 shot .38 revolver! I'm aiming for the chest....and the AF hated that stance bit axe me if I cared. My life is on the line I'm not gonna do what they 'recommended'. Also, I got fined for 'abusing' a gooberment vehicle. It was an old Ford Econoline van and well, yeah....after doing the gas brake gas brake gas brake gas brake, the front wheels finally saw about 1 foot of air according to a partner in crimeA member of the military isn’t govnt. property. The are contract killers.
Thats the way the USAF presented it and the actually term used GOVERMENT PROPERTY but may have not been the correct legal term. Was not presented as a warning but fact.Yes. That was meant as a joke.
But seriously, since slavery was abolished in this country, and human beings can not be considered “property”, a person serving in the military can not be charged with “destruction of government property”. Although that is the term used for military members if they bring harm to ones self or others in the military. I’m no JAG lawyer or CID, I’m sure it’s worded differently.
Ghostrider might be able to shed more light on this.
The view from inside the Military is a bit different than the view from outside. A "Defense Attorney" is more of a negotiator and what you do between the time you are charged and the time you are sentenced decides your fate. It does not work like a civilian courtroom. You are at the mercy of everyone and hopefully no-one that has a beef with you will have a say. Your attorney's greatest accomplishment is to keep you from hard labor or a bad discharge.I heard the term be used/tossed around a few times when someone got some ink done. But if one was ever charged for destruction of government property, I’d think the defense lawyer that was worth their own salt, could get that dropped.
