spedo needle

is it ok to remove a broken needle whith i good on from a difrent speedo w/o any prob and not throw the speedo off as far a acuracy? thanks for ur help guys?

I don't see where that would be a problem if it is done properly, however I believe you would be better off just using the one that has the good hand. I know the mileage won't be right but who cares on a car of this vintage.

I've removed needles before but never reinstalled one. Wasn't hard at all to get it off.

The mileage can be changed. I reset one to all 0's before. It's also not that hard once you get familiar with how it works.

ive removed n replaced needles also have reset milage to 0 also but my ? is if u put it back on will it trough off the spedo as mph thanks pat
