has anyone used these heads on a 440 pros & cons the hemi head converision

Had a buddy run them for a few years made great horsepower the factory 440 block couldn't take the beating though.

Stage V hemi conversions, The price is pretty high on them, they can make good power though, you need special rockers & push rods, buy the time you go thru all the expense you could "almost" have a real 426 crate Hemi, well after another $4K-$5K, A couple of years ago, they were like $8500 for the kit, heads & 2x4 intake, then you need exhaust, rockers, push rods, carb's & linkages, it's not cheep.... Good luck

I have a set of these heads and there are advantages to these heads too like they take out the bad angles of the factory push rods and have better control of valve action esp on the exhaust side. and parts like a block are still cheaper than a Hemi block. with a girdle and after market main caps you can build a light weight safe strong hemi conversion on the cheap and reliable too! :headbang:

Are the heads readly available? I tried calling there number several times a couple years ago, and no one ever answered.
