Will a Power Steering floor shift column from a 1973 Plymouth Satellite fit into a

1971 Dodge Charger with power steering?

I know the k-members underwent some changes in 73-74, will this affect steering column interchange?

Thanks,

Patrick

I think it will physically fit....but why? Don't you have a '71 Charger column? They are relatively easy to rebuild if you have a bad bearing/bushing. There's nothing that I'm aware of that would "interfere" due to differences in K-members.

I have a column shift column in my 71 Charger, but have switched over to bucket seats and console. Would like to put in a console shift column.

I thought the 73-74 steering columns were shorter than the 71-72 thus not interchangeable? If someone else knows different that would open up possibilities for me as I am working on the same conversion project. Good luck with your projects.
