Steering column key removal

Planning to convert a 73 charger to bucket seats with a console. Existing steering column has no key. In the meantime I need parts from another column, but I need advise on how to remove the key cylinder from the donor column Thanks

I thought you could just drill the brass lock pin out but I do not see it. If nothing else just drill where the key goes in until all the guts fall out.
 
depending on year you should have acces to the release button or tab... But I can't see it on that pic!!! It seems the hole was filled

( no need for key to make this )

On lates, it should be a hole on collar. I guess on earliers it should be a notch
