I have a 70 super bee with power steering and while doing some other work I decided to rebuild my steering coupler I bought the oe kit on ebay and rebuilt it but it is very loose I measured the width of the 2 spring loaded paddles in there and they are .880 and the opening in the coupler that they slide in is 1.00 seems like an awful lot of play has anyone come across this or is there a different size I'm not seeing any help is much appreciated and the coupler itself does not seem to be whooped out that bad at least doesn't look it Thanks!!!

Make sure you don't have the shoes installed 90 degrees out. When I rebuilt mind I found they were.

Hope this helps.
