The power steering gear on my 72 Satellite is starting to leak. I was thinking about rebuilding the box. I stopped by my local Advance Auto store today to check on a complete seal / rebuild kit. The folks at Advance don't offer a rebuild kit but do offer a reman. box for around $150 plus a $75 core charge if I wanted to go the replacement route. Advance suggested that I check with PartsGeek.com for the rebuild kit.

Here is the question. Has anyone dealt with PartGeek.com? I couldn't find the rebuild kit but I did find a complete reman. box for $86 plus a $35 core charge. This reman box includes the pitman arm and free shipping. I believe in the old saying "you get what you pay for" and can't believe this steering gear could be of any quality. I can assume with 100% accuracy it is a China import.

If someone knows where I can get a seal / rebuild kit for the steering gear let me know. Suggestions are welcome.....

Thanks.
