I have a 383 in Jigsaw...
It isn't wild but maybe a bit hotter than a 383 Magnum.
Bigger cam, better intake, headers and a bigger carburetor. With a 3.23, it felt S-L-O-W out of the hole. Flooring it, it barely peeled out. I have to get it going about 45-50 before it felt alive.
With a 3.91 gear, it is much more peppy but without an overdrive, yeah......3500 on the freeway feels like it is screaming though these cars did this 40-50 years ago because nobody had overdrive transmissions.
