A&A Transmissions near Indy sells them in different weights. Whenever I did transmissions with shift kits for friends, I always had a machinist friend turn the stock heavy weight down to the H.P. weight.

I have plenty of governor weights. Are you looking to change shift speed or just have a functioning governor? There are two different Diameters. 1" and 1.070" used in 80 and up.

Hi Doug. My issue is it shifts way too late. I have no idea what is in it right now. I have tried everything I can think of besides the governor. It will not shift into second at wot. Thank you. Mike

I had a similar issue but it wouldn't upshift 2 to 3 at wot. My issue was a modified governor used with a shift kit. Pressures in the kit went up enough that the lighter governor created an issue. Switched back and all is well.
