That would probable effect it by 1-2 inches I would think.
MP springs super light which is all in usually by 1200 rpm depending on which advance cam is in it. Really made for the strip. They ping in most street cars.What???
It wasn’t idling 30 degrees BTDC. It was idling at 18 @ 900rpm. It began advancing at 1400rpm and was all in at 2200-2300.i wonder how the OP only gets 10" of vacuum when the engine is probably idling 30 degrees before TDC. what are we missing?

Not “race” springs. I HAD two factory light springs. I now have one factory light spring, and one Mr Gasket medium spring. It’s about perfect now, and I just finished dialing in the vacuum advance.Ok. What springs are in the distributor? Thought you had the two light race springs.
