1971 Satellite Sebring. Stock suspension, drum brakes (for now). Anyway, I recently picked up a 17x9 set of the Year One Rallye wheels. They fit but the lip of the wheel is fairly close (finger) to the upper control arm. Does anyone have any specific experience with being close with that wide of a wheel then having an interference issue once a QA1 upper was installed. Worst case I can go to the 8" up front. Just wanted a "square" set for rotations.

Second question if you don't mind. Going to upgrade to the Dr Diff Stage 2 11.75" disc brake setup. Will that affect the track width of my car (factory drums)? Just curious. Probably a question for Dr. Diff.

Thanks to all!!

9" rim squaring is not a common thing. And neither is tire rotations on these types of classics.
The 8s would be preferable
