My father raised me around mopars. My uncles and even my non blood uncles.

I still remember the day I found this car while riding my bicycle, sitting in a field near heather farms park in walnut creek. It was badly beaten. The front window was broke and it had supposedly had a hole in the block. I was 12. I had nothing more than paper route money and dreams, besides it wasnt a 66-67 charger and that was my dream car at the time.....

I told my uncle about it and he ended up with it, tho I believe $1200 dollars later.

I have no idea how it ended up here. I remember it, yellow, windows down and in a field:

That was my car. You found it and I ended up giving $600.00 or $700.00 for it. A few years ago I found the VIN to it and had someone check to see if it was still in the system. About the same time that was going on a guy I recently met came by my shop and saw pictures of it on my wall and said he has seen that car before. Then he goes on to say that it's some Pure Vision show car. I had no idea what he was talking about and pretty much figured he got his wires crossed or something. The next day he sent me a link to the above web site and I about fell out of my chair - and didn't think he was goofy anymore. So much for the theory of it rotting in a field again.

Cool story Meeps & Court, that car turned out very nice, I love the Purevision 515 GTB 69 Charger....

How did it end up with right hand steering?

I think it had something to do with poor judgement at the Pure Vision facility. When I was looking over the pics I thought it was well done until I got to the interior :eusa_think:

This is a numbers matching R/T SE (engine and tranny) and the owner who sent the car out to have done told me it's worth more now that it will ever be as a restored car. Maybe, but I couldn't bring myself to do this to a numbers car. At least it didn't come back as a bunch of cheap Chinese lawn furniture.

Yep. The brown one that came from Pacheco. Miserable tapered axle SOB! The solution on that rear end is to cut the U bolts and roll it over a cliff. I was thinking about that car when were were talking earlier about the small round air cleaner it had. I believe you ran off with it!

When I went to check it out it was sitting at one of those old houses by the Pleasant Hill BART station - right about here under these palm trees next to a rusted out Mercedes 250 SL

I know that area of Pleasant Hill, very well, I lived on Jennie dr. for a few years near there, I like that Bay Area Rapid Transit, by the way, more girls &/or women preferably, should ride BART...LOL... wink wink :headbang:
