Hey hope this don't sound to stupid, so I found out that my block is cut .10 undersize on the crank. The crank I have is a forged from a hp engine, and is also cut .10 under on the rod/main journals,so what size bearings will I need? I dont know if im just confusing myself because its late, thanks for any response!

I've never heard of a block being undersized in the main journals. If such a thing were actually done, I would think that line bore & hone would be a simple fix. I've heard of lots of cranks being ground undersize on rod and/or main journals, normally to compensate for some surface defect that required removing more material in order to make that piece usable.

If you're not sure about your actual dimensions, measure them, or have your machine shop measure them and find you what you actually have. Then get your bearings once you know exactly what you need.

Sorry I phrased that weird The crank is cut .10 under from the factory, and my new crank is .10 under so would I need +10 bearings?

K its all gotta go to the machine shop any way so I will have them check it all! Thanks

Btw, .10 is .100 and a 10 under crank will be listed as .010 under and the bearings will be listed this way too. Clearance is usually made into the bearing and you can get a bearing with less or more. Mic the crank and see what it is. Some grinders take off more and some take off less so you need to know where you are to start with.
