Stupid question - Inner fender splash shields on a B body

HOW DID YOU GUYS ATTACH THE GASKETS TO THE METAL SPLASH SHIELDS? (sorry for the caps) .I know original were stapled, but I don't know how!......................................MO

No staples. They were push through expander type clips.

There were several body seals like the ones around the steering linkage that Detroit Muscle supplied the stainless staples for attaching "no ****". They did a good enough job matching the staple size that I was able to just push them threw the old holes and hammer them over "crued".

Yes for the steering linkage but not inner fender splash panels as he was talking about. I bought that Detrit Muscle kit. Very precise stuff.

This is very timely, I am cleaning up my fender wells and the splash shields need replacing, and or are missing, I will order the Mega Kit from DMT!

69 Charger:
Under the fender, the upper splash shield for the headlights attaches in various locations, some of the clips attach to another piece of metal shield that is removable , I am missing my drivers side, can I find this part anywhere to get a new set?
