Yes weld for sure me & my buddy went to a local steel company picked of 2 x 3 x 1/4 Square tubing & (5 ) small metal plates and cut to fit & fab up it all then welded it all in. One car was a 68 Charger with a 572 Stroker hemi & mine is a 66 Plymouth Satellite built 440 and I felt the difference right off the bat plus I welded a 1/4 plate cut to fit where my Pinion Snubber hits...
