Has anyone here made their own subframe connectors? Id like to see some pics. I just cant justify spending 250 bucks on a piece of tube steel. Thanks..

I bought 20' of 2" square tube and used it to do my 65 & 66 Belvederes.

I cut 14 ga into 3 sides at work and cut/formed to the floor pan.
Took me most of a day, but the car is noticeably stiffer.

I use 1.5" x 2.5" .125" thick tube, a flat piece on the front and have a u channel bent for the back. On the back I cut the tubing at an angle to match the rear frame, then cover that joint up with the u channel.

I've done them a couple of different ways; I'm like you I don't feel the need pay the bucks for something that's not real tough to fab up if you're able.
I'm gonna go this route on my current car ('68 Satellite)- looks solid and the steel's free for me...!

It’s only $219 for US car tool’s frame connectors and they’re laser cut to to the factory floorboards. I use them on all my mopars I do
