Looking for suggestions on how to run a vacuum hose for the heater switch on my '65 Coronet.
Manual brakes, no vacuum advance on the dizzy.
Can I run the vacuum hose for the switch straight off the manifold?
If so, is there a fitting available to run a 1/8 ID hose from the manifold?
Or shall I run it all the way from the front of the carb?
Thanks

Off the carb would be easiest... the ports for vacuum advance are closer neer the throttle plate and the one you want is full vacuum up on the body of the carb... I would use a check valve on it some where so it only pulls and in case of a back fire doesn't pressurize the line plus you get one more operation while the car is off

Thanks, I was wondering about a check valve. I think this is normally on the brake booster.
I have a Holley 750 and I could only find one outlet but I'll look again.
Thanks
