That is one great looking Bee! What is the scoop? Have I missed the story in a previous post? Looks like tan int.. Is that correct? Very intersting car!

okay I looked at some of your posts and I see that you are the original owner!
Way Cool!

Kid, I think you're the one who sold Dodge's in 69, ever remember any Butterscotch non A12 Bees? That was the color I wanted but the chart said a12 only. I stayed away from metalics because paint was so hard to match back in the day. I have seen 69 RR in that color
I bought my Bee new it has about 66,000 neither the AVS nor TF have ever been worked on, 1 set of brakes @ 65,000? It goes plenty fast
You'll note an 8 track shown but it is a radio delete, yes I know all radios were opt but that seems to be the term eveyone understands.

No that's not me that sold Dodges new in 69. I do know who you are thinking of though. I'm sure he will chime in. I was only 3yrs old. I don't know about the availablity of Butterscotch on 383 cars. I've never seen one. I have as you stated seen the color on RR's though.
Great car! As odd as the color is there is a 69 Coronet R/T on Ebay right now with the same color combo. That's crazy! I've never seen it before and I see two in one day.
Oh yea, Radio delete is perfectly acceptable by 99.9% of the Mopar people that you will encounter........

That's a beauty!!! Very smart keeping that one around for this long!!

Very unusual color combo, and I love tan interiors...probably had to do with my first hod rod having one back in '86!

Damn- either I got to inherit a fortune or hit the lottery- makes me wonder if the guy whobought my 68 Bee still has it after 30 years.or if it just rotted away...glad you still have yours!

That is some kind of cool man...Nice car and you are just as special holding on to her all these years.

The day I picked up my Super Bee I took the first pass through town there @ one of the drive ins was a black Super Bee w/ 4spd bench, & the flat black scoop, white letter tires, & hood pin pkg. I can't remember if it had a vinyl top or nor proably. hdtp or cpe?
A friend wanted to buy my Super Bee real bad but obviously I didn't sell so he ordered a 70 blk cpe w/ buckets center arm rest. My Dad had a black 70 Charger R/T red stripe for demonstrator.
The Coro R/T looks good but I never quite understood the side scoops on the clen no chrome bodies
So there were blacks around

thanks for posting these

Love the car and enjoy the stories behind the car, regards CD:hello2:

Man I love the 69 Bee with road wheels and raised white letter tires! As far as the scoops go they were optional on both the Bee and the R/T. I can take them or leave them, but I must say that I love the 69 Coronet 1/4 panels.
