just putting my suregrip that I ordered from mopar performance in my diff
I made the tool to adjust the screws for the back lash ,
now wondering what oil to run, Castrol 75w90 synthetic and if do I need additive

I was told by Dr Diff to run the Walmart brand, Supertech....he runs that in everything he owns...and include the hypoid additive..

Yes, you use "posi" additive which is included with some gear lubes & added separately with other brands of gear lube. AutoZone sells "TransX" (I think) posi additive separately. You can use 75W-90 similar. I use 75W-140 in mine for no good reason other than the "thicker is better" idea (which isn't always right).

I run natural oil, with Ford posi additive....in everything that's not a spool. Natural oil in all, with spools.

I use AcDelco 88900330 or 10-4003 same stuff, I was told that any thing that has metal to metal clutches like Dana Powerloc need to use this additive. Most additives are for friction material type clutches.
