can any body give me suggestion on how to get switch cluster in the dash pad. the dash is out it would seem to be easy put my is not and I broke my 3 speed wiper switch in the process . Help !!!! does the switch bar go all the way into dash pad because it is really tight

It is a very tight fit. You have be very careful and push it straight back. I had to use a plastic prying tool to get mine in. I've done it three times in the past six months and I cursed each time. Patience Grass Hopper!

Yes it is a very poor design, they should have made it where the switch bezel goes in first and then the dash pad, hope I never have to take mine out again.

It shouldn't be that hard to get in or out. The pad does overlap the switch frame / cluster but as mentioned a plastic pry bar or tool will help in the corners. You might leave the dash pad in the sun to soften it up for the installation.

I use tire shine spray for softening plastic parts to ease in disassembling and 're assembly....

It also helps to loosen and drop the steering column a bit.
