Tach removal

1968 Plymouth Sport Satellite.
I would like to remove and replace my in dash tach. Looking for information as to how to get the dash apart. Do you have to remove the whole dash assembly. Been removing small parts looking for something holding the dash together. Removed the screws holding the switch cover and it will not come out. Dont want to break anything trying to get it apart.
Any advise.....

Take the screws out, unplug the speedometer cable, disconnect battery, unplug all electrical connections, lower steering column if necessary, pull out dash. Presto, you're done.
