The light about the headlight doors being locked will not go off. What is that toggle switch called and can I get a new one? Also, the dash lights only come on if I wiggle the headlight switch, is it worth trying to take it apart of just replace it?

The headlamps not locked light is on because the headlamps aren't locked. They need to be fully closed or open to close both limit switches and turn the light out. If your system works, you're about 1 in 15,000.
The headlight switch isn't very expensive or hard to change.

The driver side door is a 1/4 the way closed. Now it makes sense. I did see the headlight switch for $50 bucks at Classic Industries.
