Happened to catch this from Hickok 45.... Haven't shot a revolver in years.....
Ya know Glocks have been outlawed here in California? You're such an outlaw.... LOLTHAT is some funny ****. I did not know that!
I have Glocks, the wife has a Springfield but they are magazine pistols.
If you didn't know that already, you'll only make that mistake once.
I've only fired a revolver at a firing range for one session, no one told me how to hold it but it seemed like common sense to me to not have my hand placed there. I'm not a gun guy really, but if I were to get one for security I like the simplicity of a revolver.I thought that was common knowledge
I had a chrome S&W 38 special that spit lead bad. It was dangerous to shoot and because it was an old police revolver, it had thousands of rounds through it. My gunsmith friend said it was worn out. I had it destroyed.I've only fired a revolver at a firing range for one session, no one told me how to hold it but it seemed like common sense to me to not have my hand placed there. I do have a family antique and before this post it never occurred to me to check the chamber and barrel alignment, maybe if I ever want to take it to a range I'll have a gunsmith check it out first.
Once the rifling is worn out, time to destroy it as it is no longer a functioning firearm...Glad you did so...cr8crshr/BillI had a chrome S&W 38 special that spit lead bad. I guess if a gunsmith determines that I'll have to make the choice to destroy it, or just keep it as an antique.I had a chrome S&W 38 special that spit lead bad.
