Television Shows

Wife and I binge watch older shows from time, new movies, but without making this political, I've got to start downloading series or get a tevo service to avoid most of the commercials on free tv these days, sickens me to my stomach
I agree. I don't want to see ads for HIV meds for buttsexuals any more than that idiotic, untalented "singer" that does the Burger King ads.

...but he sounds "just like" Will Smith.

Global HIV statistics
  • 39.9 million [36.1 million–44.6 million] people globally were living with HIV in 2023.
  • 1.3 million [1 million–1.7 million] people became newly infected with HIV in 2023.
  • 630 000 [500 000–820 000] people died from AIDS-related illnesses in 2023.
  • 30.7 million people [27–31.9 million] were accessing antiretroviral therapy in 2023.
  • 88.4 million [71.3 million–112.8 million] people have become infected with HIV since the start of the epidemic.
  • 42.3 million [35.7 million–51.1 million] people have died from AIDS-related illnesses since the start of the epidemic

TV shows that have theme songs, whether instrumental or with lyrics.....
Some shows have paid respect to a character that died in the episode by rolling the credits at the end in silence.
I tried hard to find a list of TV shows that have done this but the search engines on the internet suck ***. I tried multiple ways of asking the question and got nothing.
Kiefer Sutherland's 24 did this. They had a ticking digital clock that was shown before the first scene, before commercials, after commercials and before credits were displayed at the end of each episode. When an important character of the show died in that episode, the clock changed but was silent.
Other shows have done this too but the bullshit internet search engines could not find any.

Any on this list that you were looking for?
Silent Credits

Thank you. That link mentioned 24 and Six Feet Under, a TV show that the wife and I are currently watching again. Tonight's episode is what got me thinking of this topic. The lead character dies with 3 episodes left in the series. The end fades to white and the credits came up in silence. It sparked a memory of that other shows have done the same thing.

I turned the tv off back when Covid hit. When I turn it back on, recently, they're still playing the same shows that was on when I turned if off initially. It's like I haven't missed a thing.

Then you know how I feel about watching the constant Alcohol promoting adds, that kills and harms I suspect an order of magnitude more than the statistics you have shared above.
But freedom means people have choices, whether I agree or not.
