I like to think alternatively.... as in " it is what it ain't"just accept it......it is what it is

I understand that this is an expression but have you ever thought of how redundant that statement is?
“It is what it is”.
Guess what? EVERYTHING is what it is.
A toaster is a toaster.
A rutabaga is a rutabaga.
A car is a car.
