"Testing the waters" the latest annoying trend in listings.

Had a guy get mad after he asked “what’s the lowest you’ll take?” and I responded “what’s the most you’ll pay?” When a guy offered half the asking price, I told him I’ll hold on to that while you go home and get the rest!

I have always liked to raise the price when dealing with A holes. That seems to get the point across pretty fast.
You list a part or even a car ect and the 1st call or text is( what's your real price or bottom dollar ? )
I just respond with a higher price than what I had listed.
You wish to deal, ask me legit questions , ask me for more detailed pics or a time to meet and look it over.

Me too! Selling a $99 part at a swap meet, a fellow offered $50. I say, "For you, $110." He says "You can't do that." Told him if he wanted to lowball me on a part, I had the right to ask more. He walked away pissed off. 10 mins later I sold the part for full price to a fellow that had been in the vicinity when the 1st man tried to pull his lowball act. Were they together? Who cares. I sold the part and that ended any worry about what the 2nd guy did with it.
