The 4-door Barracuda at Mecum

My friend built a 69 Road Runner wagon. He used 2 door doors and rear quarter windows and used two door rear quarter panels too. The rest of the wagon rear side glass area was paneled off like a sedan delivery. He lowered the roof to the standard two door windshield height and used a coupe windshield too. There was a lot of fabrication involved in the build. He said after seeing my convertible Charger he was inspired to build the wagon. He sold the car to a guy from New Jersey who was a member on here. I think he painted the car yellow. Unfortunately the car ended up on Copart after it was lost due to the flooding from Hurricane Sandy.

I can see his reasoning. The satellite was a 4 door road runner; the coronet was (basically) a 4 door charger...why not a 4 door 'cuda?

I see what he did with the beltline, and why...but I think the proportions would have been a little better had he brought the 'hips' up closer to the front of the car. As it is, it looks like it sags in the middle, at the bottom of the windows. Optical illusion...but a change from that horizontal line to one with a little curve to it would have fixed it.

The whole roof line and side glass with window frames needed to be lowered 5 to 6 inches!
