Saw it done once in duckpins. It was done my a 15year old with a rocket arm. Pin went up bounced off the backstop and hit the 7 pin. Everybody went nuts, it was a Saturday morning youth bowling league.

Bowled for many years. Never picked up a 7/10 split. Closest I got was a 4/6/7/10. Got a patch for it I think from USBC.
