Here's how walmart won

if you could go to the grocery (which you likely go to every week) and also buy tools and toys (which you may go to monthly)........

you'd likely say "fck yeah"

...and if it was cheaper.....

K Mart, previously king of the hill in retail other than grocery tried to add grocery but was too late.

Grocery has a lot of overhead and "spoilage", something that K mart and Sears never had to deal with.

However, spoilage is kind of a mixed blessing, as it can be simply thrown away and written off.
This can occur at a shockingly high rate.

Wal-mart had this whooped before they entered their massive expansion stage.

Dollar General-

Has started beating wal-mart at their own game.

Smaller stores (and a lot of them) carefully positioned on most shoppers routes between their homes/workplaces and heavily trafficked wal-mart locations.

...and careful attention to stocking what people are likely to "go to walmart" for.
At least food and convenience wise.
Pliers or compressor fittings- no, OK, pliers maybe.

Most of my Walmart shopping is food while traveling as I use there parking lot to over night
And it is only proper to support them as we are using washrooms and parking space

Not all. They sell some Canadian made tires. They sell Canadian tools, such as Picquic (made in Vancouver) or Garant hammers and gardening tools (made in Quebec and New Brunswick). Don't forget Frank's Campfire Sticks. You have to look at the labels.

I don't think things are racist if they are true. Does China manufacture most of our day to day products? Yes. Has there been a huge influx of Mexicans illegally entering the US in the last 20 years? Yes. Are African-Americans overly represented in the NFL? Yes. That's not being a racist. That's just seeing the true facts.
