Finally got the time to take the car to the shop and get the new roof and passenger quarter panel installed. Can't wait until it's done and I get to bring it home right when winter break starts. I'll be going at it all winter and hopefully have my first drive in spring. Already looking forward to it. Gonna do a rotisserie restoration on it. Already have my own rotisserie and blaster. I'll surely be looking for alot of advice. Hope I didn't step on too many toes in the political forum! To those that think I did... Peace Brother! Truce?

Even though it's #'s matching with 383HP i've already had the motor bored and decked for a 438 stroker kit from 440 source. Everything for the rebuild is here waiting for assembly, including the girdle setup. I am gonna dress it up to make it look like someone dressed up a original 383 (sleeper). The car has 34K original miles and I will be keeping the original paint code outside, except maybe adding a little or a lot of flake (we'll see), the black vinyl is gonna have to go back on also, and will be going from Green to Black on the inside. So i'm gonna be needing some black panels and such. PM me anyone that has any black OE interior. I know some folks think that what i'm doing to this car is sacrilegious, but I wanna make it mine. If I do, i'm more likely to keep it rather than turn a profit. Any and all input is greatly appreciated! I will post pictures soon when the roof and quarter is done, and also some photos of the build. I might even include a few photos of my stuffed Baboon aptly named "Papoose." Been looking forward to this for some time now! IT IS TIME!!

I would be one of the guys on here to be most likely to say , " Build it how YOU want it!!" because that's what I am doing to mine. Congrats on a fine looking specimen of a Charger, your gonna enjoy this winter. I have black interior stuff but it's unfortunately for a 67 Coronet. Good luck! I'm gonna need some tutelage and alot of insight, advice and pointers. Tips, tricks, and how to's also. Any and all future information and help is abundantly appreciated. The roof and quarter panel will be finished in 2 weeks and looking forward to what lies next. All I know is what more of a cooler car(in my own twisted mind), could a person have the pleasure of bringing back to life and scream down the streets pissin' the neighbors off!!??:headbang:
