Not Chuck Connors, but he's pretty good.
My Winchester is in the venerable 30-30 caliber, as most of them traditionally have been
("the caliber that has taken more deer than any in history", bla bla).
I tell you what, though - a lot of folks have gone to having a shared caliber between
their pistol and their lever gun (say, 45 or 357) and I can see the logic in that, especially
given what ammo prices have done the last few years.
I would think so, sure? Can a .357 lever gun also fire 38 special?
As I call them, The original manually semi-auto rifle!Life ain't complete until you own at least one lever gun.![]()
Henry's got a couple that will!Can a .357 lever gun also fire 38 special?
Most can do that unless specified different. (example) If it can shoot 357 it'll shoot 38's but some say 38 only. Can a .357 lever gun also fire 38 special?

a 38 bullet is the same as a 357 bullet other then the 38 is shorter. I do some cowboy shooting and my revolvers are the same caliber as my rifle,, 45's
and : if a gun shoots 44 magnum it'll shoot 45 specials,, same senario as the 38--357's.

ya gotta' love a good lever action rifle, Winchester Henry Marlin etc.
had them all
when I lived in Alaska I had the Marlin .44mag & a Ruger Super Red Hawk
both great carry firearms for out in the sticks, a tad heavy bu effective
where you aren't at the top of the food chain
or for home protection for that matter
