My young son and I watch it on AMC Saturday mornings when I don't have to work..
My son loves guns and horses

One of our local stations plays the Rifleman and Emergency reruns every afternoon. I enjoy them both, but especially Emergency, because that show inspired me to become a paramedic; a career I enjoyed for 16 years before becoming a physician assistant.

Favorites are Wanted: Dead or Alive, Cisco Kid, Have Gun Will Travel.

Yeah, we were watching during lunch break for a while, then it switched to Dragnet, now it's Dennis the Menace. I catch Petticoat Junction in the morning before work. Innocent TV.

Yup,
I'm here in So Cal and a TV channell: ME TV (20 on Direct TV) carries the episodes.
The episodes are all about "GOOD" and allegedley based on the Golden Rule of the Bible.
Interesting note:
2 guns were used. One had a "ring" on the left side.
Also, most episodes were filmed at Malibu Canyons
Episodes were from Fall of 1959 thru 1962.

Micah Torrence, (Paul Fixx) the Marshall was a "washed up drunk".
His confidence was "shaken" and Lucas kidnapped him and "dried" him out.

Last nites episode (#2) had Dennis Hopper as a 18 yr old in school with 12 year olds...

The Rifleman .....the dude had a problem with his eyes...he could only look sideways at people!!!! specially when he was pissed!
:argue:
then there was Roy Rogers...he never opened his eyes!....but then that's stuff a kid checks out.
:rolling:

I still watch them on the Western channel also all of the Gunsmoke and Marshall Dillon episodes ....great TV easy to understand Right Vs Wrong no shades of gray

You bet. Watched it all the time back in the good ol days.

I don't know if yall knew this about Chuck Conners....but he was a serious athlete. He played both professional baseball and basketball. In fact, he was the first in the NBA to ever break a backboard. Also, there's always been a rumor he was gay. Even that of a gay **** movie he supposedly made. But to date, no one has ever substantiated it and he never addressed it. Plus, he was married a long time and had a family. I've never thought there was any truth to the rumors.....and you know, if there were, whose the hell business is it? He was a massive actor in every sense of the word.
