My former mother in law had a Nash Metro convertible. Cool little car...she "HAD" to have one since her mother had one back in the day (can't really fault her for that, considering the story behind my 500....), so she bought it sight unseen from NC (we live in MD). Since I had a Cummins and a trailer...I "got" to go pick it up for her. Very cool car. Black and white 2 tone, houndstooth interior, three on the tree, tiny little 4 banger. The guy had restored it for local parades and stuff, and did a decent job. He just neglected to mention the fuel gauge didn't work. Found out the hard way one day

I think I've driven it more than she has - and I've been divorced from her daughter for a dozen years now!
