Reminds me of the newspaper cartoon my wife uses to make fun of the way I like to do things the hard way.
Scene: Time to check the level of the engine oil. Mechanic raises vehicle to its maximum height in the service bay. Mechanic brings over ladder and climbs up to the top, opens hood, and checks the oil. Why did he go to all that trouble when the vehicle was already lowered to the ground? That's me.
