Three spoke steering wheel option?

I hadn't realized til recently my '66s steering wheel was a different looking item from most 66-67s I see on the web.....was this an option?

That is a correct Woodgrain Wheel for a 66. Yes, it was the optional wheel.

All the woodgrain wheels are 3 spoke
the stock black and/or molded in color plastic wheels were 2 spoke 66

1967 and later were 3 spoke

that 3 spoke wood one was also an option for 68-69 from what I recall. It's one of my favorite stock wheels. I wish they offered repops in a 15" diameter.
