Throttle cable for 71 440?

What are you all using for throttle cables on your big blocks? Whatever was installed on my 71 lasted 250 miles. The cable they used had the wired braided insulation but somehow the inner cable broke about 1 inch inside the fire wall?



Anyone know what brand this throttle cable might be?

kinda strange to break inside like that,i use these.

Your cable is a Lokar,and it's too short.Cable should be longer and in sorta an "S" shape.
I also have a lokar throttle cable and oil dipstick.
