Hello Mopar brothers. I’m trying to remove the second hand on my Rallye tic toc tac clock. I’m going to either fix the clock or convert to quartz. I’ve been pulling on this second hand with some pretty decent force but not coming off. Does it thread on some way? What am I overlooking? Any help would be appreciated before I break it. Thanks.

I'm sure you'll get some real advice from the resident brain trust, but I believe in the path of least resistance. How about just painting it black?

What is the reason for wanting it to be removed?

Pull harder. Unless some fool glued it on, but they're just a friction fit.

Thanks. That’s what I thought too. I’ve installed quartz conversion kits in E body rallye clocks and the hands pulled off easy. This second hand on this tic toc clock is really stuck on. I’ll try again today. I’ve had a small fork like tool underneath with some decent force and still no luck. Maybe a drop of penetrating oil on the shaft might help. I was just checking to see if some of you with experience knew of it being threaded on or something else I didn’t consider.
