I have a 64 Dodge 440 with a 440 that I am trying to remove the passenger side exhaust manifold. The studs in all bolt holes are about an inch longer than the new ones I bought in case I may need them. The drivers side came off with no issues. The picture shows the clearance. Passenger side manifold comes about half way off the studs then can go no further because of the shock tower. The manifolds are the later factory HP ones.
Is there a way to get the manifold off without lifting up the motor? If I need to lift/jack up the motor what is a good spot for the jack?

Thank you pnora. I didn't think the manifolds would be an issue but forgot about the engine offset. The longer than normal studs don't help. Hopefully the lifting goes without issues and I can get to putting things back together.
