Tire size option for B body

Hello everyone my 68 roadrunner 383 has the magnum 500 chrome wheels 14 inch. I am going with probably the cooper cobra RWL instead of the outragious price for redlines. The stock size is F70-14. I am told I can go bigger on this stock rim to the max 225-70-14. Have no interest in getting 15 inch rims. This is what I have for info so far.
F70-14 = 26.2 tall and 7.75 wide 225-70-14 = 26.26 tall and 8.9 wide
If I go with a 60 series, I think it will be wider but less taller. Thanks

I have Cooper 225/70/14s on my orig 68 Magnums. They look good. No excessive sidewall bowing.
