This thing obsolete or worth selling? it's in great condition, I need a dual plane for my car not a single plane.
my buddy bought it had it decked and painted then set it on his 440. Oops! I traded
him a raised block single plane intake I had laying aroung for it.

Aloha, I would give you $50 plus shipping to Hawaii . Mahalo C

Those are good intakes but like the higher overlap cams (108 LSA). Typical RPM range is 2500 on up. Watch the heat cross over passage on those as they usually get eroded. Welding is a common fix for those that have been eaten up and there is nothing wrong with that. Just need to be aware of any issues.

I like the TM 6 (and the TM7 on a 440). Despite what you might think, they are great street manifolds. I ran a TM7 on a street 440 for years and loved it. I am going to run a TM6 on a 400 (going in a street/strip 65 Belvedere). I vote you keep it (or sell it to me).

I've got one on my 383 (tm6) works better than my dual plane performer did! Might consider throwing it on and give it a try before you sell. Might think it was worth it? Good luck!

I agree the TM6 is a good intake. Ran one on my buddies 383 Cuda and it ran real good running 11.40's @ 118. If you have atleast 3.91's and a little converter I agree with the post on here about putting it on and seeing how it works. Ron

That article is dead on. I have used both the DP4B and the TM6 on the street (automatic 383 and 3.23 gears in a 65 Fury). On the street, you couldn't tell the difference (normal driving and 'horsing around'). On the strip, I would give the TM6 a slight edge. My engine had a mild cam and a 600cfm Holley carb (most likely the limiting factor at the track and not the manifold).
I think you should run the TM6 until you find a good deal on a dual plane manifold. I would still keep the TM6 unless you got a really good deal on another intake.
I'm just sayin'...
