Torque Converter and Flex plate line up ?

I have a BM 10415 TQ and a BM 10231 8 bolt flex plate. I made the mistake of not marking the two pieces for correct line up before installing motor and trans! If anyone has any suggestions on hole line up that would be great. Really don't want to separate again, but may have to

Spin the convert till a bolt goes in easy on to next hole ,maybe you will get lucky you will remember next time
 
currently in that process, got 3 out of 4 to line up,,,,bout ready to separate the two and do it the right way, might take less time..LOL!!

There's only 4 combinations to try. faster than splitting!

TQ has one hole offset as does flex plate? I'm not finding a combo? Getting frustrated turning motor over!! Or maybe I'm overthinking the damn thing!!
 
do yourself a favor and get you a push button switch, connect it to the starter relay with wire long enough to reach down to where you can spin the motor while your working . take the coil wire off lol

Yep, once you get the offset hole in the converter lined up with the offset hole in the flexplate, a big splash of paint on both the plate and converter.
HOWEVER, i believe that some of the later mopar flexplates did away with the offset hole. If you cant see a hole that is clearly offset on the flexplate, you may have a mismatched combo.
The offset is easy to see on the flexplate, not so much on the converter. If you can get any two bolts in, the offset has to be one of the other two ( if the combo isn't mismatched.)
 
Turn engine to the point where two holes in the flex plate are viewable. Either one will be the off set hole, or not. Spin the converter until you confirm the offset hole in the converter. You should then find the right orientation within 270° of crankshaft rotation.
