I grabbed this from here:

Says this is not correct bc lower arm is not at full droop. I've taken my spindle from upper a-arm and it won't go any farther down, but the lever that the bar goes into is in the same position as shown in the picture. I can pry on it to get it down a bit, but not enough to get the bar in.

Grabbed this from Hotchkis's site...assuming it needs to be in a position similar to this...

Am I doing something wrong? Am I at least thinking correctly? Any ideas to share? Should I just take the whole LCA off and start over? Not sure why the lever won't rotate down as far as the Hotchkis pic...

The picture shows the mistake. You Insert the lower A frame stud into the K frame, and screw the nut down only enough to pull the frame into the k member, and over the strut rod. Tighten the strut rod. back out the anchor adjusting bolt all the way, until only the rounded top shows. Then Push the anchor all the way down onto the rounded end. Then Install the bar. it will work. Sometimes one side may have to be slightly higher then the other to match up to the bar. don't worry about it. my GTX was that way, and the adjustment compensated for it. I hope that helps!

As he said. You need to loosen the stud nut so the adjuster will drop freely. Then you can tighten it after the ride height is set.

Worked like a charm. Phew, thought I was goin' crazy...

Thanks guys.
