I just bought some good used bars that are suppose to be small Block / 6 Cyl bars. I wanted to know other than being Left & Right is there a Correct way to put them in ?
Meaning is the # suppose to be in the Back ? Dose it matter ? I would think the Bar would gain a sort of Memory to it
The bars are 774R / 775L
Thank you

Yup...as Factory R = Right and L = Left
1. Factory typically installs numbers to the Rear
2. Grease them up before install
Good luck!
I got the Left & Right. But They have #'s on both ends ?
maybe I am just over thinking it ?

Yes you are overthinking it. Front to back doesn't matter, but as stated, the factory installed the part numbers to the rear. The other numbers are date codes.

You have slant 6 bars, not small block.

Grease in sockets and bar ends.

L and R is critical Front/back no difference.
