Hi

Can anyone recommend a good Transmission place for my 1969 4spd. It started to pop out of second gear on deceleration so something is wrong

There’s Brewer’s or Passon.

Yes I know Brewers but he doesnt want the whole Tranny just the parts so I need someone to open it up so I can send parts

My buddy rebuilds these 4 speeds, he’s in Commiefornia, not sure you’d want to spend the coin on shipping.

I'll assume you've already played with shifter adjustments. When I got my '66 it jumped out of 1st if I didn't hold the handle. Found the linkage almost 1/2" in length too shy of proper engagement.

Hi

I had the tranny out a year ago when I put in new clutch and it was shifting fine for 500 mile or so. Then it starting popping out of second gear only on deceleration. Tranny is out of car now anyway
