On my '68 Charger I recently changed out the leaking rear brake solenoids, adjusted the drum brakes, and replaced the leaking o-rings on the steering box valve. I had the front end in the air with the car running and tapped the valve until the front wheels stayed straight. Everything seemed to be great until I tried to turn a sharp left while parking at a show this past weekend. The car would not move and I had to really get on the throttle to force it to go. This happens moving forward and reverse. No problems turning right or even a normal turn left. Is this a valve adjustment, rear drums hanging up or something else to look into? Thanks for your help!

Only the brakes would prevent the car from moving. $ wheel drum ? Everything was ok before the brake adjustment ? No parts changed ?

Yes, everything was good. I will look at the drum brakes again.

Any chance one of the front wheels/tires is contacting something at full lock?

Is there a spool in the rear end or a locked up SureGrip?

Don't go to the racetrack with it. Trouble turning right would be no problem.

But you don't know if he's tried to make a sharp right turn yet......?

I adjusted the brakes and it seems good to go now.
