Trunk, interior floors, firewall

Curious if it’s OK or what the consequences may be of painting the inside of the trunk, the floors, and the firewall without scuffing them with sandpaper? I used a direct to metal DP 2050 primer. I put it on probably a month and a half ago.

You should probably ask the paint manufacturer, or the supplier. So many different paints out there. You might get away with liquid sandpaper.

If it's been on for more than 72 Hrs, scuff it with scotch-Brite.

I decided to bite the bullet! Been sanding for the last couple hours.

I would scotchbrite it and shoot.
