I wonder if anyone can help...The Turn signal dash lights that blink when the turn signal is activated are very dull on my Charger and can barely be seen in sunlight which has resulted in me driving along with the turn signal still activated unbeknown to me..
Has anyone replaced the bulbs for brighter ones and is it a difficult job to do?

I suggest a “loud” turn signal flasher from your local auto parts store. They sell “loud” ones for this reason

Incandescent bulbs themselves don’t get dimmer with time. They get dimmer with reduced voltage or due to dirty lenses.
If you replace one incandescent bulb with another, I don’t think you’re going to get the results you expect.

Before you do anything! Take a volt meter and record idle volts and at 1k rpm.

Let us know what's going on. Led lights are nice but a real pain to deal with when halogen might be enough.

Flasher’s on Amazon for $14. You need the one with a grounding pigtail for LED. You might have to reverse the wires it connects to on the harness side.

I just dive head first with my back laying on the pedals and my legs thrown up over the driver seat. Back hurts a little after but rather do that than pull anything apart.

Snake’s right though better to make sure it’s just the bulb and not a power issue.

You won’t need LED flashers if you are just changing the turn signal indicators in the dash to LED. If you start replacing exterior lights with LEDs than you will need them.

Oh that’s cool, I did all mine at the same time so I didn’t realize it didn’t affect the dash. That’s convenient and good to know

I did mine all at the same time too. Didn’t need them until I did front turn signals. Everything else works without them if I leave the incandescent bulbs in the front turn signals. As soon as put LEDs in the front turn signals nothing will flash without using the LED flashers.
