oldbee, i have seen this done and they wrap the the fuel line with the low side(cold) it works but most of them put it to the inlet side when it should be on the return so that you are cooling down more fuel in the tank. trying to cool fuel from lets say 200 degrees to a 150 is not going to happen in six inches of fuel line. so if we cool down the the return and have lets say 160 and then pump it to the carb vapor lock, hot fuel etc would be all reduced. not six inches at a time. had a guy one time put 3/8 tube welded in across the bottom of fuel tank so as he was driving the air would pass through the tubes and help cool the fuel. i don't know if that really worked but a cool little idea.
