A friend owns this 72 340 Duster and he showed me the mountain of paperwork the other day. Two build sheets and two window stickers amongst other things.

I don't quite understand why there would be two window stickers and thought maybe someone here could shed some light. The first one says: Ship to Sales Bank. Sold to Chrysler Corporation. The second says: Ship to Al Davenport Chrysler Plymouth. Sold to Al Davenport Chrysler Plymouth.

There's a difference in price between the two as well.

That’s cool he has both. Sales bank cars were built so there would be a pool of cars to draw from. They were not built for a specific dealer. Then when it went to a dealer it got a sticker with their name and address. I’m not sure why the price changed.

Thank you.

the difference in cost on the 2 window stickers
maybe (?)
Dealers Flooring (bank fee) cost for the dealership
or possibly a dealer trade fee
or dealer prep fee of some sort, like washing & delivery etc.

some aren't written out/detailed on the list either

not 100% sure back in 1972
